Timothy J. Conway

Mr. Conway is the Technical Director/Auditorium Manager for Fine Arts productions as well as a Co-Sponsor for STUNTS.   He also serves as the Chair for the Fine Arts Production Board.  He teachers Acting 1-2, Tech Theatre 1-2, Tech Theatre 3-4 and Film Making.  He has conducted workshops on a variety of theatre related subjects for the Illinois High School Theatre Festival and the Illinois Theatre Association Conventions.  Mr. Conway has served as Technical Director/Designer for three All State production at the Theatre Festival.

Scott Shallenbarger

BS, Theatre Education

MA, Theatre History and Criticism

Mr. Shallenbarger is the Director of Theatre Arts at Highland Park High School.  He teaches Acting 1-2, Acting 3, Advanced Theatre Performance and Directing.  He is also directs two productions and the musical.   Mr. Shallenbarger is a published playwright and created an original adaptation of the Arthurian legend for the 1997 Illinois High School Theatre Festival, which he also directed.  He has conducted workshops on a variety of theatre related subjects for the Illinois High School Theatre Festival and the Illinois Theatre Association Conventions. He is also active in professional theatre as an actor and director.

Cindy Conway

BA,  Theatre Education

Costume Designer

Ms. Conway has been the resident Costume Designer for the Theatre Program at Highland Park High School for over 15 years.  She also designs for Dance HP in Concert  Ms. Conway has considerable design experience and has designed and constructed costumes for other theatre and dance programs as well.  Ms. Conway has served as the Costume Designer for two All State productions.

Gerry Keen

Properties Director

Ms. Keen started as an ardent supporter of the Theatre program because of the involvement of her son Richie.  She became the Properties Director  9 years ago.  Ms. Keen is a successful antique collector and a happy grandmother.  Ms. Keen is an alumni of HPHS.  Legend has it that Ms. Keen met her future husband during Stunts!

House Manager

 MA History

Mr. Rosenzweig is an AP History teacher at  Highland Park High School as well as the sponsor of the Scholastic Bowl team and a Co-Sponsor of Stunts.  He has been the House Manager for many years.  He is a HPHS alumni.
